The lawsuit revolves around the assertion of co-authorship of the series and the subsequent entitlement to royalties.
  
• Represented a transgender athlete in proceedings against the Belgian cycling federation and the UCI and safeguarded this cyclist’s right to compete.
  
• Advised Kevin De Bruyne on the tax and legal aspects of his record-breaking player contract with Italian reigning champions SSC Napoli. The reigning Belgian football champions Club Bruges, with the dismissal for just cause of a professional football player and ensuing employment court litigation.

• Assisted TikTok Technologies Limited with the review of the template licensing agreement that it uses in relation to artists who upload their music directly to the platform. The agreement grants TikTok global distribution and marketing rights in exchange for the payment of royalties.
  
• Representing the Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB/URBSFA) in a claim brought by former Chelsea and Arsenal midfield player Lassana Diarra before the CJEU challenging the rules governing contractual relations between players and clubs.
  
• Assisting HASBRO with various matters related to the protection and enforcement of its renowned MONOPOLY brands. The advice concerns, among other things, potential infringement claims based on Hasbro’s European trademarks for the word MONOPOLY and related board designs and mascot, as well as in relation to potential copyright claims to a the game and the game format.

• Representing FIFA in the Diarra litigation in the Belgian courts (currently pending with the Court of Appeal of Mons) on the compatibility of several principles of the FIFA players’ transfer rules (in particular, rules on arbitration and on the co-liability of the new club of a player in case of unilateral termination of the agreement by the player without just cause with his former club) with the EU competition and free movement rules.
  
• Assisting and representing Napoleon group in respect of a series of commercial and regulatory matters following the acquisition of Napoleon by Superbet, including several litigations in front of the Constitutional Court, the Administrative Supreme Court and the civil courts.
  
• Advised CANAL+ in Luxembourg on legal risks related to claims from collecting societies for satellite broadcasting in Belgium, following renewed demands under updated copyright and neighbouring rights laws.

• Advised PlayRight, Belgium’s collective management organisation for performing artists, on the interpretation and implementation of the EU Copyright Directive into Belgian law, focusing on the new remuneration right for performers vis-à-vis streaming and content-sharing platforms.
  
• Advised ACAP on the sale of Standard de Liège (the first division Belgian soccer club) and Immobilière de Standard (the real estate entity holding the stadium of Standard de Liège) to a consortium of investors led by the current CEO of the club.
  
• Advised ITV on the acquisition of Happy Duck Films (Belgian topco) and Eagle Eye Drama (UK subsidiary), a production firm based in Belgium.

• Represented Streamz and major European videogame industry bodies in a landmark case before the Constitutional Court, now referred to the CJEU, on whether Member States may apply copyright levies to videogame and audiovisual streaming platforms.
  
• Represented Viagogo before the Belgian Supreme Court, Constitutional Court and Brussels Court of First Instance, challenging the constitutionality and EU-law compliance of Belgian rules restricting ticket resale and resale platforms, and permitting government blacklisting. The litigation seeks to secure Viagogo’s freedom to operate within Belgium and the EU.

• Advised Dreamwall on regulatory compliance for virtual advertising in live sports, including a multi-jurisdictional comparative analysis and tailored guidance on advertising practices in the motorsport sector.
  
• Challenging a decision of an authority that decided to not award a contract of advertising agency for media campaign following a public tender. Challenges before the Council of as well as the judicial court.
  
• Advising Netflix on a constitutional challenge to new audiovisual investment obligations in Belgium.

• Advises ByteDance (TikTok) on EU regulatory matters connected to U.S. litigation, supports regulatory submissions under the Digital Services Act and Digital Markets Act, and provides strategic public policy guidance for its EU strategy. The Brussels team also handles ad hoc privacy issues and advises on the implications of the EU AI Act for the company.
  
• Assisted OnlyFans in overhauling its internal and external policies to comply with European law, advising on a wide range of IT regulatory issues, including the Digital Services Act. Work included guidance on content moderation, automated tools, and broader compliance considerations under evolving EU digital regulation.
  
• Advises Moon Active on data protection matters, including data sharing with advertising partners, privacy policy reviews, and international data transfers. The team also ensures that acquired companies meet EU data protection standards and comply with emerging digital regulations, such as the Digital Services Act and AdTech-related requirements.

This encompasses representing the client before the Belgian Competition Authority and drafting crucial legal documents for the tender, such as the tender document itself, licensing agreements, and production agreements.
  
• Assisting Streamz with various legal matters, including daily reviews of audiovisual exploitation agreements and providing them with media regulatory advice.

• Assisting the AGICOA group, the International Collective Management Society for Film Producers (Agicoa Genève), and its Belgian affiliate (Agicoa Europe Brussels) with several litigation proceedings against BAVP (Belgian collecting society of producers of audiovisual works), against Telenet, Orange, Voo and Brutélé, the main Belgian cable operators.
